Just a little funny

Today Patrick, Piper and I were in the store. Patrick said to Piper "let's take a walk" and Piper goes "On the wild side"?? It cracked me up. Where does she come up with this stuff???

Woodland Park Zoo

We took Piper to the zoo in Seattle on Saturday. I had never been to that zoo and was not sure if it would be good or not, but it really is a nice zoo. It rained most of the way after Ellensburg and then was snowing on the top of the pass. But once we got close to Seattle it cleared all up and was beautiful blue skies. Piper had an awesome time too, so that was the best part. After we left, we went and had dinner at IHOP. It was yummy. Here is some pictures...

I love Pipers voice

I had Piper sing me a song today. It was so fricking cute. I recorded it. Her Hula and laying down and closing her eyes at the end was all improv on her part. Too Cute!!!

I love you man...

Today on the TV there was some commercial. I didn't see it but it said "I love you man". Right after it went off Patrick grabbed Piper and hugged her and said "I love you man". In this voice that was just totally "DUH" she said to him "*sigh* I'm NOT a man"!!! It was funny.

I dressed Piper up as a princess today. That was fun. Here is a photo from that...

I took a whole bunch of photos of her today to try and get a perfect one for the Regis and Kelly contest, but they all came out over exposed. I am not happy. There were a ton of really good ones :( I have fixed the setting on my camera and will try again tomorrow. I had Pipers hair in piggie tails for awhile today too. It is still barely long enough, but totally adorable. Those pics are over exposed too, but I am going to post a few anyway :)

Catching up.

It is strange. Almost everyday Piper says or does something that really stands out as so funny. But the last few days have been uneventful. But here are a couple cute things.













Yesterday Patrick and I took Piper bowling. She really enjoys it at first, but gets bored fairly easy. So we only played two games, but it was a lot of fun. They have these tiny little bowling shoes in her actual size. I forgot my camera though so don't have proof, LOL!!! I will get pictures next time. I think we will go again next week. Piper bowls with a 6 pound ball. She took it and rolled it down the lane. Slowly it rolls down to the pins and knocks down 7 of them. Piper put one hand on her tummy and one behind her back and takes a bow to the left, the front and the right. That was pretty cute :)


A few nights ago I asked Piper to clean her room. She is not good at that but she has to learn to do it. I sent her into her room to pick up her stuffed animals and put them in the spot we keep them. She had been in her room for 10 minutes or so and it had gotten very quiet, which all moms know is a red flag. I figured she was doing something she shouldn't be so I sneaked down the hall to see what was going on. Now I am not proud of the next photos as I don't like people to see our mess, but I will post them anyway. I peeked around the corner and saw...

No baby!!! I freaked out and started yelling "Piper, Piper". Well then I hear this strange sound. It was snoring and I realized she had fallen asleep in her room. So did you see the baby in the first photo?? No?? Here is a closer look...

Yes, that is her all balled up in the corner. Of all the funky and uncomfortable places to sleep!!! Piper talks in her sleep often, but does not snore too much. But she was really snoring when I found her. I know this video is dark, but I had to record some of it. You will want to have the sound on for this :) Enjoy...

Mondays Laugh

Tonight it was getting late and I told Piper it was time to start getting ready for bed. I asked her to go potty. She turned to me and said "Okay I will go potty and you can go make me a BaBa, Okay". Then gave me a thumbs up and a wink at the same time. It was so funny :)

"Piper said the funniest thing..."

Yesterday I was telling my husband, Patrick, about the cute thing that our 3 year old daughter Piper had said earlier. He suggested to me that because she so often says and does funny things, that I should keep a blog and write them down in it. I thought that was such a wonderful idea. There are already so many things I know I have forgotten that she has said or done and now I can share them with family and friends, and have a record for myself too :) So I hope you all enjoy the funny things Piper does and says, the way I do.



What was the funny thing Piper said yesterday that started this whole thing off you ask?? Well I had gotten out of the shower and was putting on deodorant and Piper wanted some one too. I don't really put it on her, but rub the side of it on her armpits :)~ So I did that and she said to me "Now I will smell pretty as a Klenex"!!! Yeah, not a princess or a flower or perfume, but a Klenex. Silly girl.
