Piper and I had an interesting conversation in the car today. We drove past the Hallmark and Piper saw it was going out of business. Hallmark is one of her favorite stores. She asked why and I told her I guess they just weren't selling enough to stay open. She was very upset by this and said "I always wanted to buy things in Hallmark and YOU never let me. SEE WHAT YOU'VE DONE"!!!! She totally serious and I tried not to laugh so she could here me. I wish I could have recorded the way she said it.
But then it got weird...
We were sitting at a traffic light and she pointed out a white Subaru over in the left turn lane. Piper said "You see that white Subaru over there"?? "Yes" I reply. In a completely serious tone she says "Well that Subaru is trying to look like us. And the people inside are trying to look like us too". She went on to tell me we needed to keep an eye on them because they were so suspicious. I'm still not sure what to think of that!!!
